GCSE Results 2026
GCSE Results Day 2026
On the 19th August 2026, our 2025/2026 Year 11 students returned to school to collect their GCSE grades. Results were strong across the board, but some individual subject areas shone, with the English Department achieving 89% at grade 4 or higher, the Computer Science Department achieving 83% at grade 4 or higher, Maths achieving 75% at grade 4 or higher, and Religious Education achieving 80% at grade 4 or higher.
A number of departments also gained excellent grades at the highest levels, such as English with 37% achieving grades 7–9, French with 64% achieving grades 7–9, Chemistry and Physics with 50% achieving grades 7–9, and History with 41% achieving grades 7–9.
“We are incredibly proud of our students and everything they have achieved. Today’s results are a wonderful celebration of our students’ dedication, success and support for one another. This year’s results demonstrate a clear improvement in the progress students are making from their individual starting points. Compared with previous years, students have made stronger progress throughout their time at the school, reflecting the impact of high-quality teaching, targeted academic support and the commitment shown by both students and staff. This represents an important step forward for the school and provides a strong foundation on which to build in the years ahead.”
- Mr O'Shaughnessy, Headteacher.
