Welcome to the Music Department 

Welcome everybody to our vibrant music department. We are excited to promote learning and making music with the help of our new music staff. Mr Dirdala is our new music teacher who is also a musician and guitar player, supported by teaching assistant Miss Emmanuel. In addition to the pre-existing diverse musical activities, we are introducing new extra-curricular clubs which will be featured in the upcoming newsletters. The music department is also introducing optional singing and instrumental peripatetic lessons which will give students the opportunity to expand their musical abilities during the school day, thus preparing them further for their GCSEs.

Our lessons provide students with all the necessary tools for them to be able to read, write, make and produce music. We are fortunate to have a variety of instruments, equipment and practice rooms and to be supported by a new highly experienced external music consultant.

We are looking forward to getting to know all the students and supporting them throughout the school year.
