Welcome to the Drama Department 

Drama at STU seeks to unleash the creative impulses of the many talented students we have here at the school. Students explore a range of dramatic periods, styles and techniques through practical as well as theoretical exploration. These range from Ancient Greek theatre to pantomime, stage combat to physical theatre. Students are encouraged to throw themselves into lessons and explore the fun and benefits of learning practical performance skills using their bodies and voices to realise characters and stories. Opportunities for further engagement come in the form of extra-curricular clubs and trips, as well as opportunities to audition and perform in the school's calendar of events including the Carol Concert and Passion Play.
